Homemade granola

This recipe is so easy and versatile. I always make it not just for myself but also for my friends and family. I recently made it for my aunt and her family fell in love instantly.. <3 The ingredients used in this recipe can be changed  according to your preferences yet taste is always guaranteed!There are many granola recipes online, yet I find this one to be the easiest and the healthiest. So, if you are into an easy, healthy and yummy breakfast/snack ideas, prepare to be hooked!

Ingredients:
300g oat flakes 200g almonds
150 cashews
100g pistachios
100g flax seeds
200g raisins
1 cup honey vanilla extract

Method:
1. Chop your almonds, cashews and pistachios and mix them in a bowl with the oats and flax seeds.
2. Heat the honey on a medium heat and add to it a few drops of vanilla extract. 3. Add the honey to the mix of oats and nuts and combine well with a spoon until you get a wet mixture.
4. Spread the mix onto a baking tray and sprinkle a little bit of salt then bake in the middle of a preheated oven for around 20 minutes or until golden brown. Make sure to stir the mix in the middle of cooking so as to ensure even browning.
5.Once it is golden brown, take out of the oven and add the raisins then let it cool completely. Store it in mason jars and enjoy it as a breakfast/ snack. I personally like it in milk, yogurt or smoothies!
